Team Rule Synchronization & Web Deployment Guide

This application is a 100% Client-Side Single-File Web App. All Word document parsing and Track Changes generation happen locally inside the user's browser for maximum data privacy.

Option A (Recommended): GitHub Pages

Centralized URL Managed by You

Best when you want to maintain the master list of keyword rules and equipment clauses so every colleague always uses the latest version at a single URL:

Add or edit any rules/clauses in Tabs 2 & 3.
Click "Publish / Export Updated App (.html)" above. This bakes your latest rules directly into the HTML file's default code!
Commit/upload the file as index.html to your GitHub Pages repository (or Netlify). Every colleague opening the link immediately gets your updated rules.

Option B: Intranet Shared Drive / SharePoint

How Colleague A & Colleague B Sync

By default, browser changes save to the individual PC's localStorage. To share updates across colleagues on an Intranet Shared Drive:

Bake into HTML: Colleague A clicks "Publish / Export Updated App (.html)" and overwrites the .html file on the Shared Drive. When Colleague B opens it, the new defaults load automatically!
Or Share JSON Config: Colleague A clicks "Export Config JSON" and saves tender_spec_full_config.json in the Shared Folder for Colleague B to import in 1 click.

Option C: Real-Time Shared Database

Instant Auto-Sync (Firebase / Supabase)

If you want Colleague A to click "Save Clause" and have it appear on Colleague B's screen 1 second later without replacing any file:

Host the HTML on GitHub Pages / Cloudflare Pages and connect it to a free Supabase or Firebase Firestore cloud database (or an internal SharePoint List REST API).
All rules and equipment clauses are fetched live from the database on page load.
